My husband Don and I moved to STL in 2008 from San Diego, CA, to help Dad and Mom. We bought the first house on Stoneyside Ln.-right across from the Old Bonhomme Elem. School blacktop. I have 2 sons: Michael Fellmeth in Manhattan, N.Y., and Aaron Fellmeth in Scottsdale, AZ. My husband Don has a daughter and a son and 4 grandchildren, which he shares with me. :) I retired as an elem. school teacher when Don and I married in 2003 as I had been a single mom for 28 years. I recently had an article published in the March edition of Java magazine on "How I Met My True Love." Don is a retired United Methodist Pastor. We attend the gathering umc church (gatheringnow.org) and are active in the International Order of St. Luke, the Physician, a healing prayer ministry (orderofstluke.org). I love to sing praise music w/ Don who plays guitar and sings. I like to walk, bike, and float in the Meramac R., knit prayer shawls, and especially spend time with our family members and friends. May 1, 2017: Dad died 6/7/15 and Mom died 1/15/16. A week before Mom passed we brought home our first puppy, an 8 mo. old rescue border collie/retriever "Blaze". My husband and I decided to give ourselves another year in STL before returning to San Diego. We also decided to invite a 20 yr. old single inner city African-American mother and her newborn, Lai, to live with us for the year so she could finish high school and, hopefully, have a better start in life. She accepted. I get to care for the baby while Mom is at school during the day. She's been a gift to me and a joy to love her and watch her grow. Between the baby and Blaze, I now laugh every day! Our home goes up for sale at the end of May... Peace, Class of '64. Jill |

| Comment: 8/1/18 - have been happily retired for 18 months after prosecuting criminals since 1978. I spent the last 21 years in the U. S. Attorney's Office here in St. Louis. I live in a loft on Washington Avenue and love that I downsized (10 years ago). My children and grandchildren are happy and healthy. I'm an avid scuba diver and have been pretty much diving everywhere. This year - 2018 - I spend 6 weeks in Asia and loved it. I have been single for 30 years. It suits me. | |
