Ladue '64 Classmates:
What a wonderful weekend!
Your committee members are just beside themselves with the great turnout and the great fun we all had remembering old times, and just enjoying each others company. So many of you commented that you were certainly reconnecting with old friends, but also building new friendships with class members that you didn't know that well back in high school. It was also great to see how many of our other guests, be they spouses or other friends, also had a great time and really just melted into the crowd.
Our committee is likely to suffer from a little post-reunion depression, given our monthly meetings coming to an end and our best hopes for a good weekend far exceeded by the great attendance of our wonderful classmates and some of the best weather one could ask for in late September. However, we'll get to finish up some of the work like paying the bills and loading pictures onto the website that will serve as great memories for years to come. You'll want to check the website in the coming weeks to see those pictures and remember the great time we had. You can also download your favorite pictures.
There was lots of talk about a 55th or a 60th, and we'll have to see how things develop in the years to come. Some folks have suggested a luncheon for those who prefer not to drive at night. So. while we unwind from our spectacular weekend, we want all of you to know that we are open to suggetions or ideas about what we should consider next. Are you interested in a 55th ? Thanks again to all of you who attended, and especially those of you who traveled far to come back home to your classmates in Ladue. We just can't express how heartwarming and motivatiing it is for your committee to see everyone have such a good time. We have been remarkably lucky to grow up in Ladue and live through perhaps the best years our country may ever experience. We look forward to future opportunities to get together.
