Comment: Hi Sally! Do you have a date yet? We already have made our plans for the U. City Reunion, which is October 24th, 25th,& 26th.... Even if we can't make the Ladue reunion, would love to see you while we're in St. Louis, and maybe Connie and Kelly, too! Who is on your reunion committee? I sure had fun working with you on this before, but Houston is just too far away to make any meetings!! Even if we can't be there, could I send a then/now photo? I can't scan though, so it would have to be real mail!! Looking forward to hearing from you, and to seeing you again! Love, Dee

Comment: After Ladue, I got to attend Mizzou at Columbia with a few others from our class; then I went into the Navy, as an aviator;  I married someone I met while at Mizzou and we lived in Virginia (Norfolk, then Richmond) for about 15 years. After I got out of the Navy, I'd went back to school and got two more degrees (BFA,MFA) and went on to be a furniture designer/maker... with my own shop and business in downtown Richmond.  Then came a change and a tour at Eden Seminary in St. Louis, where I happily ended up being ordained in the United Church of Christ. I started a new church in Orlando, then served on staff at a big church in Bal Harbour, (Miami Beach) FL,... then was a regional conference minister serving 30 churches, and now -after being "retired" for a year or so am back in a church  --this time as an Interim Minister.  It's fun and rewarding!  We have two sons... one who lives in Miami near us is a record producer, and one in Singapore is a movie/film editor.  As I read the bio's that some of our classmates have posted, I am reminded all the more that it was an honor to have been in school with such an impressive group.  Those were the years... those 1960's.  And we are still going!

Alfon Larson

Marital status: Married
Children: 1
Occupation: Lutheran Pastor
Comment: I love Lake Tahoe, but do miss the mid-west life of Ladue.  I'm serving as a Lutheran Pastor here at Lake Tahoe. Also, still the Ski-Chaplain for Squaw Valley USA. Obviously, love to ski the winter, and then sail Tahoe in the summer. Wife is a retired Broker, and my son is a Physician. Lot's of grandkids. I've received my Doctorate in Lutheran/Jewish studies, and really have loved my 39 years and counting, in the Ministry. Traveled to Israel at least seven times. Back again next April.

A question to class of '64, are any of you expat's? We recently bought a new home in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Have learned Spanish. And plan to live there part of the year in future retirement.  It would be fun to share some expat experiences.
